It seems there is no fix to this Atari doesn't have a fix just you can start from the beginning ' it shouldn't take you long as you have just played the game' wow what an answer to the question. Will go back to the EA games have all the need for speed and shift stored on the PC plus some good F1 games.
Also have TD1 which i still play. That was good game you could drive any car all you needed was money no silly driving school stuff just buy your car and drive.Good luck with your game if you come across an answer please post it maybe there a clever person that can figure it out.Have a good 2013. I guess the save-game can become corrupt with this game (as I have read on some forums). So, I get in the habit of after each time I close the game to make a back-up copy of my save folder, so just in case I encounter the infamous save-file corruption problem, that I can then just revert to a previous saved copy (delete the corrupted save and replace it with a backup copy) and not have lost too much progress. I know it's a hassle, and we shouldn't have to do that (Atari should fix this, and several other issues with the game), but I figured, I've put in a fair amount of time playing this game already with my current profile, so it would really suck to lose all of that progress.

Anyways, you can find the save folder on your computer under your: Documents Edan Games Test Drive Unlimted 2 savegame I just make a new backup copy of the whole 'savegame' folder each time I finish playing (I keep copies of multiple sessions backed-up just in case). BTW: If you're using Windows 7 (or 8 possibly), it has a feature to restore files to a previous version, so navigate to where your 'savegame' folder is, right-click on it, on the pop-up Menu should be an option of 'Restore Previous Version'. I think this only works if you have Windows System Restore feature enabled though. Anyways, from that, I think it should give you an option of reverting that folder (and files within) to a previous version to before when the files were last altered (possibly reverting to a 'good' version of your save files to before when they became corrupted). I've no idea if it will work to fix the problem for you guys, but I thought it might be worth a try. If it does work, then after that get into the habit of making a backup of your 'savegame' folder after each play.

Open Modio (or other Xbox file viewers) Download all the files included in this thread Replace the files in Test Drive Unlimited 2 (in Modio) with the ones you just downloaded change the ID's of the downloaded files from this thread to yours (Right click one of your saves and one of the downloaded ones and click open in resigner) Rehash and Resign Put in Xbox and Move files to HDD. You need to have started playing TDU2 and gone past the tutorial at the begining, you also need to have your own AVATAR file on Modio from the 360 (You get the AVATAR file after tutorial and then move it to your USB.).
