Oct 15, 2007 I was just wondering if someone could tell me how to get the in-game voice chat for WOW to work. I have gone to bliz's site and read up on the new feature. I decided to get a new pair of headphones with a mic a few weeks ago. I figured there was something I was missing by not doing voice chat after seeing all the.

Original title: One app causing major lag, how to find out what the problem is? Hi, when I try to use an application for voice chatting for gamers (Discord), it will not connect me to the actual voice chat, and more bothersome: attempting to connect causes major lag to my laptop. Even after I've ended all tasks and processes related to the app through Task Manager, my laptop will continue to run extremely slow and not function properly till a reboot - the shutting down can take up to 10 minutes. I have no other noticeable problems with my laptop until I attempt this voice connect. I don't have any trouble connecting with this app on my phone or on other computers on the same network, so I'm sure it's something to do with my laptop. I haven't found out about anybody else having this issue either. What can I do to find out what's causing this lag on my laptop?

Is there a log of sorts that tracks the exact processes causing lags? I would very much like to continue using this app one way or another.Post moved by the moderator to the appropriate forum category. Hi, Thank you for your reply.

I had uninstalled and reinstalled twice before coming here. Sorry, I should have mentioned that in my post. The app is available as a desktop app but also as a browser app in Chrome and Firefox (not in Edge), and I get the same problem (my laptop lagging tremendously) when I try to connect through the browser app on Chrome. I suspect the problems are caused by a recent update in the app, since I could use it just fine beforehand. I've contacted the Discord developers to ask if they know what might cause the problem (since it is not a Microsoft programme I know that you probably won't be able to do much).

So I'm wondering if there is a crash log of some sorts in Windows 10 where I can find information on what step in the connecting process caused the issue and what continues to cause issues after I've terminated the app. I'm not spectacularly good with computer stuff, but I hope to find something that will help me in what to search for online etc. Thank you very much.
